Rental Agreement

J & A RV Rentals

The renting party agrees to provide a $200.00 deposit, ($100.00 booking deposit is required to reserve the trailer). The remaining deposit will be paid at the time of departure along with the rental charges. The balance is due in the form of cash or through PayPal.

The renting party must provide a copy of their valid California Driver’s License and a copy of an Insurance Binder. The Insurance Binder should provide liability coverage for the trailer by being added on to the towing vehicle’s auto insurance policy.

The Renting party must have a valid California Driver’s License and be at least 25 years of age. Any additional drivers must be present at the time of departure and also be 25 years of age.

Renters must have a Brake controller and a 7 way plug installed in the towing vehicle. J & A Rentals will provide the hitch, ball, and/or sway bars.

The renting party must dump the trailer holding tanks. If the trailer is returned and not dumped properly or the renting party chooses not to dump the holding tanks, a $50 fee will be charged.

No smoking in trailers at any time. Pets are allowed.

We are not responsible for costs to repair a flat tire. A spare tire and tools are provided.

The trailer must be returned to the same location of pick up before 5:00 p.m. or unless agreed upon prior to departure and returned in the same condition the renting party received it.

The renting party is responsible for all damages, loss or theft, of the trailer, which includes the cost to repair or retail cash value of the trailer or missing equipment. If any damages or missing items are discovered or extra cleaning charges are incurred, we will then hold your deposit until all issues have been resolved and paid in full. You must report any accidents involving the trailer to J & A RV Rentals and the Police Department with 24 hours.

Rental Booking Deposits are non-refundable, if you contact us prior to three weeks of your booking and need to reschedule we will give a full credit for another weekend. This does not apply for major holiday weekends.

The trailer may not be taken outside of the United States.
